29 August, 2009 We
are pleased to announce that, like last year, Committee Member Imtiaz Gaffar and Nazir
Noria have organised Sehri at the Centre every Saturday throughout Ramzan for a small
fee.
And tonight this will be in the form of a Barbecue, which will start an hour after tarawih finishes!
If you are able to attend, please contact Imtiaz Gaffar on 07515 666 869 for more details and to confirm your attendance so we know how many people are coming and can plan the catering accordingly.
JazakAllah

A new Centre, a new Website and a new Chapter in our Community History!
18 August, 2009
Salams all Community Members,
If you missed the recent Opening Ceremony of the new Memon Centre on Sunday 9 August, you can now watch most of the ceremony online in the gallery section of the new website, as well as see some of the photos of the Trophy Presentation that was held on the same day.
Again as usual, if you want to leave congratulatory messages to any of the trophy winners, please do so via a comment* below. Now a short introduction to the main new sections of the revamped website (which has only been possible with the unrelenting efforts of my partner in the IT team, Akeel Zicar of Zicars Technologies Ltd) :
There is a comprehensive history of Leicester Memon Centre on the About page, as well as photos of the current Committee.
