Assalam Alaikum All

The Memon Centre has organised a Ladies Yasin Khatam for all marhoomeen on Saturday 16th August, 2008 from 2pm - 6pm at the Memon Centre.

We request all brothers to inform the ladies to participate.

Br Zakir Naik, the well-known Indian Muslim dawah activist, who was in the UK last week promoting Peace TV, met with Memon Committee members Rafiq Vindhani & Khalid Jussab among other members of the Muslim community, while he was in the Leicester area last Friday.

The small informal meeting was held at Committee member Rafiq Vindhani's house, and various ways of taking part in promoting Peace TV were discussed.

Br Zakir Naik, who took his inspiration from and is generally regarded as the successor to the dawah work of the late Sheikh Ahmed Deedat of South Africa, mentioned that all Leicester (as well as UK and worldwide) Muslims should at the very least, make sure they receive and watch the channel which is available free with Sky ...
